On Tuesday May 27, 2025, from 19.00-21.00 hrs, the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis (ASCA), in collaboration with the Research Centre for Migration (ARC-M), Centre for Urban Studies (CUS), Expertise Centre Humanitarian Communication (HUCOM), UvA research project Chinese Selfies in Europe, Alumni Circle Media Studies and BuzzHouse UvA, will host a screening of the documentary This Is Not Chinatown: The Experience of Chinese Students in the International Student City of Amsterdam. Following the screening of this short film, there will be a panel discussion with the researchers, film makers, and participants. Registration for this event is required.
